Mr. Alex Chia has an established track record of operating FOOD LOFT® coffee shop chain with over 17 years of practical knowledge and a proven ability to contribute on both strategic and operational level. With his entrepreneurial spirit and unmatched drive, he successfully optimised his business and his team’s potential. In 2012, Mr. Chia spearheaded the launch of COLLIN’S®, a restaurant-quality western cuisine at pocket friendly prices sought to bring friends, families and loved ones closer as they  indulge in good food alongside each other’s company. COLLIN’S® has witnessed exponential growth in revenue and is rapidly expanding. Since its inception, it has won the hearts of many.

Mr. Chia’s resourcefulness and determination allows him to stay ahead of the latest trends in F&B industry, encouraging his team to embrace innovation and embark on new opportunities that stimulates business growth. His passion and vision as an entrepreneur moulded into reality by building profitable and sustainable investments that developed along with investor relationships. He aims to build an integrated supply chain by harnessing on a series of comprehensive capital mechanism, and ultimately emerging as a market leader in the region.

Mr. Chia firmly believes in teamwork. Time and money has been invested to equip his team with the right knowledge and social skills to carry out their role effectively, ensuring that his employees witness career growth in their individual field of work. The team’s camaraderie is crucial as they strive towards a common goal. This serves as the very foundation in delivering his promise to all stakeholders.

 

Michelle Leow
Executive Director

Mdm. Michelle Leow is a core founder of the group and has been instrumental to bringing the business to where it is today. She plays an integral role in business planning, finance and human resource, setting up many processes that enabled the group to expand its business from one single coffee shop operation to the wide spanning F&B business that employs nearly 800 employees today.   

Mdm. Leow is result-oriented and meticulous in numbers. These abilities were crucial as the group’s business grew rapidly and will continue to serve the group well as it enters the next phase of growth.  She is open-minded and constantly keeps up with market trends to adapt to the group’s evolving business.  She is also adept at managing the diverse group of employees and motivate them to constantly improve on their results.  

Mdm. Leow’s tenacity and grit complements the passion and entrepreneur spirit of the other core founders Alex and Collin. She has laid a strong foundation that will enable the group to accelerate its future growth.

Collin Ho
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Collin Ho’s passion and humble mission is to provide premium yet affordable Western cuisine for the masses. He started his very first outlet in 2011 after accumulating 20 years of culinary experience in restaurants and five star hotels. He started as a one-man operator in FOOD LOFT® coffee shop in Geylang, Singapore. He managed all operations personally from thoughtful selection of premium ingredients, meticulously designed menu to cooking, so as to ensure the dish is balanced and elevated to a high standard.

Mr. Ho’s entrepreneurship and hard work paid off. His persistent attitude towards his creation has delivered a consistency on quality that has won and continues to gain popularity. In 2012, he joined SF Group Limited as an Executive Chef and rebranded his outlet to COLLIN’S®. In only 5 years, his remarkable entrepreneurship and leadership shape the brand’s propelling growth with an annual revenue of S$25 million and draw like-minded individuals who make up the core team today.

Mr. Ho strongly believes that evolution helps the company stay fresh and relevant in today’s competitive market. Using language of food to communicate and built trust with consumer is his unique take to keep the company moving forward.  His continuous effort endeavouring to scale new heights through the constant pursuit of innovation and excellence in order to achieve the company’s goal as a reputable market leader in the region. 

Jonathan Lim
Chief Development Officer

Mr. Jonathan Lim joined as one of the partners in the group in 2014 and was appointed as our Chief Development Officer in 2018.   

Since graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Arts and Social Sciences, Mr. Lim has close to 2 decades of experience in FMCG companies. He started his career in FMCG distribution where he was responsible for business development in emerging markets in Indochina and later in Indian sub-Continent markets.   

Mr. Lim moved later to Fortune 500 companies where he spent a significant part of his career managing business units in Asia, with turnover in excess of US$200 million. In his career, Mr. Lim has worked and lived in Hong Kong, Switzerland, Taiwan, Indochina and Singapore.

Julian Oh
Non-Executive Director

Mr. Oh Jun Yan Julian was appointed the Non-Executive Director of the group in February 2021. He is a digital evangelist, responsible for driving growth and strategic renewal by automating and digitizing the group’s business. In the same capacity, his role is also to understand the greater objectivity of the group and improves company performance unrelated to the intimacy of day-to-day operations.

Mr. Oh has more than 15 years of experience in banking industry. His banking career started with DBS in 2005 as Mortgage Specialist moving up the ranks to AVP within 4 years. During his career, he took on various roles including sales, engagements with high net worth individuals, legacy planning, product management, and branch management. Through his past experience and network, he is able to understand the intricacy of consumer behaviours to formulate, develop and achieve business plans for the group.

Mr. Oh holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from Western Australia University (UWA).
